Speaker: James Schneider, Ph.D., Director, is a member of the Global Allocation team who is primarily responsible for coverage of the information technology sector.
Mr. Schneider joined the BlackRock Global Allocation team in 2020. Prior to joining BlackRock, he spent 13 years at Goldman Sachs as the senior analyst responsible for leading coverage of the FinTech, Semiconductor, and IT Services sectors. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, he worked as a sales and business development manager at Matrix Semiconductor, a venture-backed technology company (later acquired by SanDisk). Earlier in his career, Mr. Schneider was a senior technology analyst at the RAND Corporation in Los Angeles.
Mr. Schneider earned his Ph.D. and MS degrees in electrical engineering from Stanford University, and hold BS degrees in electrical engineering and physics from the University of Dayton.
